Accessibility statement

My goal

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the widely used standard for accessible websites.

What I've done

• Pages are built with standard, well-structured web code, with headings, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link.
• Every form field and calculator input has a written label, and error messages are shown in text.
• Calculator results are announced to screen readers when they update.
• The site can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and background colors are chosen for readable contrast, and the text resizes with your browser settings.
• Images and icons have text alternatives, or are marked as decorative.
• Pages respond to phone, tablet and desktop screens, and respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
• I don't use an accessibility "overlay" widget. Accessibility is built into the site itself.

Known limitations

• Home search: the "Search homes" link goes to a separate website provided through my brokerage. I don't control how it is built. If you have trouble using it, contact me and I'll search for you and send you listings directly.
• Other websites: links to government, county and other official sites take you to pages I don't control.
• Downloads and documents: some documents that come from other sources, such as county forms or association documents, may not be fully accessible. I'm happy to help you with them.
